How Far Has The Tank Come? (1)

There have been many tanks made since they first were used in WW1, some have been bad in the way that they used Circuit Breakers and electrical components and others have just been terrible in general.

1916 saw the year in which the tank was first seen and the British were trying to use it to stop the deadlock that trench warfare had brought. The word tank actually comes from the British as when the tank was in development they lied and said that they were water tanks to transport water. (more…)

WW2 actually changed the way that we saw the tank which is why it has to be spoken about

Again WW2 wasn’t a time in which tanks made the most of cable ties and Hellermann tyton but it has to be the time where tanks were used to win battles rather than just as an extra. Without the tank developing it would be safe to say that WW2 would not have finished the way that it did. This time period was very important for the tank as it developed rapidly and turned int a full weapon system. (more…)
